Job Status: Part-Time
Location: Remote & In-Person (Edmonton- some sessions held onsite)
Schedule: 2 Weekday Evenings (5:30 PM – 9:00 PM) & Saturdays
Pay: 25-30About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Early Learning and Child Care Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction in our ELCC program. The ideal candidate is an experienced Early Childhood Educator who is confident in leading adult learners, understands current best practices in child care, and is familiar with the BC Early Learning Framework.The course is delivered primarily online, with some occasional in-person sessions. The current schedule is fixed and not negotiable, but additional hours may be available in the future and can be discussed during the interview process.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging, interactive instruction aligned with ELCC curriculum standardsFoster a respectful and inclusive learning environment for adult learnersSupport students’ understanding of child development, play-based learning, safety, inclusion, and the BC Early Learning FrameworkProvide clear feedback and guidance on student assignments and assessmentsEnsure content is accessible and aligns with current industry and licensing expectationsParticipate in team meetings and professional development as neededRequirementsValid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certification in British ColumbiaExperience in adult education or training is an assetStrong understanding of play-based learning and the BC Early Learning FrameworkExcellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skillsComfortable with online teaching tools and technologyAvailability during scheduled hours (evenings and Saturdays)Don’t hold back!-apply today, even if you do not tick every skills list.
