As a manager, you will lead the social media, email marketing and videography team in achieving KPI’s while leveraging online channels. Along with managing the email marketing calendar and strategic planning. You need to have an eye for creative ideas and execution from a digital perspective and focus on new lead generation.Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing & executing short-term and long term digital marketing, email and video calendars.
• With the ongoing support of the Director, Digital Marketing & E-commerce participated in the 360 digital media strategy & execution.
• Work closely with the E-Commerce Manager to streamline content across platforms
• Manage Lee Valley’s creative requests for all online advertising channels (Instagram/Facebook/Google/Pinterest/LinkedIn etc.)
• Lead and develop a creative team of social media, email specialists and videographers.
• Act as business unit project manager for enterprise-wide projects
• With the support from the E-Commerce Manager, work closely with the category management and demand planning teams to form strategies to achieve online sales results and maximize margin.
• Identify business and technical improvement opportunities for digital media channels.
• Organize and lead end-user testing for new business features and test creative content to determine the strongest returns
• Translate omni-channel strategies into an online experience inclusive of digital marketing channels and email campaigns
• Achieve category financial targets and KPI’s
• Act as a resource and liaison between third party partnerships to enhance ROAS, A/B test and optimize digital marketing performance
• Continuously build knowledge of how to leverage Lee Valley’s marketing technology stack with related data and marketing automation products

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience in Digital team management, centered around producing defined KPI’s
• Innate curiosity and passion for understanding digital marketing
• Working knowledge and curiosity about adjacent competencies such a product lifecycle, analytics, digital strategy, customer segmentation, and social media trends
• Experience with managing digital campaigns (email, social and SEM)
• Experience collaborating in multi-disciplinary marketing groups.
• Digital analytics experience
• Demonstrated ability to combine business acumen with effective tactical execution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines and to adjust to the needs of a fast-changing extended team environment
• Ability to oversee strategic planning, campaign management, content creation, performance analytics and budget management
