As a member of our team, you will use your clinical judgment and skills to ensure our clients receive the highest quality care they need and deserve within the compounds of their own home.The requisites of this GUH position will include the following:· Having a working, reliable and maintained vehicle· The ability to travel between Sydney and Greater Victoria area, as well as Sook (during various weather conditions)· Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday- 08:30-18:30· Comfortable working with women and men· Comfortable working in various homes that may include, but not limited to dogs/cats, smoking of tobacco/marijuana· Great communication and critical thinking skillsSkills Experience and Assets:· Wound Care· Wound Vac· Injections· Ostomy· Catheter· Post Op Care· Palliative Care· TOA and Assessment KnowledgeWhy Join Our Team? • RN level nurses who have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current registration with the provincial licensing body.
• Current CPR certification required

Other Requirements:

• Clear criminal background check (with vulnerable sector screening), negative TB test
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle
