An established property development firm is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Financial Analyst to join its finance department. This role calls for an experienced accounting professional with a deep understanding of real estate development and property operations. You’ll be directly involved in all aspects of financial reporting, planning, audit preparation, and operational accounting while playing a pivotal role in driving accurate and efficient financial workflows across the organization.Core ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & AnalysisCompile consolidated financial statements and supporting documents for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cyclesDeliver timely, high-quality financial outputs for internal decision-making and regulatory complianceConduct post-closing analysis to identify key trends, discrepancies, and improvement areasAssist in building cash flow forecasts, long-range financial plans, and variance analysis reportsOperational SupportManage revenue-related transactions including AR reconciliation, receipt applications, and tenant billing auditsSupport internal teams with monthly AR summaries and performance insightsAssist with the development of process documentation and internal accounting procedures to enhance controlsLead or contribute to special projects, financial modeling, and analytical requests from senior leadershipAudit & ComplianceCollaborate with auditors to provide accurate and complete data during reviews and inspectionsEnsure financial operations align with company policies and external standardsQualifications & ProfileAt least 5 years of hands-on experience in a senior accounting or financial reporting role within the real estate development and property management spaceCPA or internationally recognized accounting designation requiredExpertise in property accounting software – minimum 3 years of Yardi Voyager experience is mandatoryProven ability to interpret, analyze, and present complex financial data clearly to executive stakeholdersDeep understanding of job costing, budget planning, and project-based accountingStrong financial modeling capabilities and advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExceptional time management, critical thinking, and communication skillsA self-starter with a proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes
Expected salary: $90000 – 105000 per year
