The ideal candidate will bring a robust understanding of the WordPress ecosystem and experience delivering secure, scalable solutions in a cloud environment.Job Title: Senior Software DeveloperJob Location: Toronto, ON/HybridJob Description:Must Haves:· Deep knowledge of WordPress CMS, architecture, and customizations· Experience developing/customizing themes and plugins· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (front and back-end)· Familiarity with MySQL and WordPress database interactions· Expertise in performance tuning (caching, speed, image optimization)· Solid grasp of WordPress security best practices· REST API integration experience· Proven implementation experience with Azure Cloud (App Services, DB Services, CI/CD, Security)Key Responsibilities:· Translate system specifications into tested, maintainable applications· Write, generate, and debug code; conduct unit tests· Troubleshoot and support software implementation, conversions, and migrationsAdditional Skills:· Strong collaboration throughout SDLC· Experience with structured development methodologies and modern design patterns· Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
