If so, this would be a great opportunity for you!Our client is looking for a Senior- Software Developer for a 7 month contract in North York.
This is a hybrid role minimum of 2-3 days per week.Advantages

· Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes:o developing detailed programming specifications writing and/or generating codeo compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests· Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.Qualifications
Must have Skills:· Understanding of the WordPress CMS, architecture, and customizations
· Ability to develop or customize themes and plugins.
· Strong front end and back-end development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
· Familiarity with MySQL and how WordPress interacts with databases.
· Experience in performance optimization – speed, caching, image optimization and code efficiency.
· Knowledge of securing WordPress installations against vulnerabilities
· REST API integration with third-party tools or services.
