Candidates resume must include first and last name.DescriptionThe Senior Software Developer is required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting tests.Key deliverables for this position:

• Attend meetings with clients, vendors, and project team members to define and document system requirements and designs
• Write high quality application code to meet specified requirements and project tasks
• Develop and configure the OpenText Content Suite Platform, Java EE code, and conducting unit tests
• Test application code (e.g. unit, integration, end-to-end, smoke)
• Support and maintain OpenText Content Suite applications across multiple lower and production environments
• Provide updates to project managers and/or management about assigned work
• Report time spent on assigned project tasks on a weekly basis
• Provide expert technical advice in matters or issues relating to the usage, features, capabilities and constraints of in-house applications and commercial off the shelf (COTS) software
• Ensure quality standards (including those outlined in the vendor SOW) are met by both clients and the project team
• Develop and implement project processes for integration of critical business applications
• Work closely with the Product Owner, Technology Architects, Business Analysts, Operations Manager and Systems Analysts to ensure meeting the objectives of the project.

SkillsExperience and Skill Set RequirementsDevelopment Experience – 35%

• 10+ years of experience in application design, latest design patterns, deployment and troubleshooting.
• 10+ years of experience with developing n-tier Enterprise applications.
• 10+ years of development experience with Java Enterprise technologies.
• Demonstrated hands-on development and troubleshooting experience on Java EE platform.
• Developing in and configuring the OpenText Content Suite Platform

Technical Skills – 25%

• Demonstrated experience in Eclipse IDE or Rational RSA.
• Demonstrated experience in JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery.
• Demonstrated technical experience with electronic records and document management systems.
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices.
• Microsoft Azure experience

ORM – JPA / Hibernate – 15%

• Demonstrated experience working with ORM tools such as JPA or Hibernate.

Reporting Skills – 10%

• Development of efficient LiveReports on large data sets
• Experience performing CIS Modelling
• Familiarity with Enterprise Connect and Enterprise Scan products

Database / SQL – 10%

• Demonstrated experience with writing SQL and Stored Procedures (in Oracle and PL/SQL).

Spring Framework – 5%

• Demonstrated experience working with Spring Framework – Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.

Must Have:

• Developing in and configuring the OpenText Content Suite Platform
